Version 1.6.0 of Pokemon Sleep will be released on April 30, 2024 after maintenance ends! This update adds in the events happening in May, adds the new Fire-Type Candy item, and adds several existing Pokemon into Greengrass Isle and Taupe Hollow. April 30, 2024 After Maintenance
Version 1.6.0 of Pokemon Sleep will be made available on April 30, 2024 after maintenace concludes at around 5:30 AM UTC. This update comes a week and a half after Version 1.5.1.

May Events Being Added
The new events being added in this update include the Fire Type Week event and the Entei Research event. These two events focus on Fire-type Pokemon and introduce Vulpix, Ninetales, and Entei into the game.

Fire Type Candy
More Candy items are being added into the game, starting with Fire-type Candy! The small version of Fire-type Candy can be used on Fire-type Pokemon to produce 4x the Pokemon's corresponding Candy. This is more than Handy Candy S, which provides 3x a Pokemon's Candy.
Fire-type Candy is expected to be an important item during the two fiery events in May. Perhaps it will be a reward in event missions during Fire Type Week or purchasable from the Event Exchange during Entei Research.

Energy Adjustments
Pokemon at 100 Energy or more can now get even more Energy when eating cooked food with Snorlax. Instead of the previous +0 Energy recovery, these Pokemon with full Energy can gain +1 Energy whenever you cook a dish.
This means you don't have to worry about wasting any additional Energy recovery when cooking breakfast with a fully rested team.

Starting in this 1.6.0 update, all Eeveelutions and all Gen 2 starter Pokemon lines will be available at Greengrass Isle.
Taupe Hollow gets all of the remaining Pokemon that are currently unavailable in the wild, becoming the home of all Fire-type Pokemon. This means that there will no longer be any Pokemon in the game without an island habitat, making more Sleep Styles available.
