Quick Affirmations for Children: A to Z of Easy Motivations for Creating Better days is a picture book that is empowering emotions and feelings for young ones from 0 – 6 years of age. The story encompasses many different cultural characters which I love.
The wonderful narrative and vibrant and colourful illustrations by Nejla Shojaie help bring the story alive.
I am a big believer in affirmations and write and share them with children and adults alike to encourage positive thinking and this is a great way for children to learn. It is never too early to start.
This interactive book is a great way to foster and encourage a child to a brighter, stronger, happier and positive mentality.
This learning tool should be a staple in any household.
Grab a copy of Quick Affirmations for Children and get started. You won’t be disappointed.

And remember that you are amazing. Quick Affirmations by Kim Ann & Yobe Qiu. It is a fun and inspiring book that teaches children the value of daily affirmations. Accompanied by interesting, charming, and colourful illustrations that easily captures the reader’s attention, whilst engaging the imagination, and thus reinforcing the affirmations..
Affirmations can make you feel happier. They can remind you that you are kind, clever, and unique. They can help you feel stronger and more confident…..
When you believe in yourself, anything is possible.’
Affirmations are a great way to build confidence, mindfulness, and possibility. This is full of many wonderful affirmations that will help nurture happier children.
“I am grateful for all that I have!”
“I am helpful to others!”
“I have joy in my heart!”
“I am kind to myself and kind to others!”
“I encourage and energize myself and my friends!”
Highly recommended. An engaging, fun, imaginative, and enjoyable children’s picture book that helps them with their self-growth and self-awareness too.

I really enjoy reading different kinds of affirmation books, quotes, journals, etc. They are such good and important reminders to us all during our busy hectic lives. Children also need their own affirmations so they can develop a mindset to support their own things once they are older and in times of need.
This book is an absolutely amazing choice for children. All children should receive a copy of this book when they are starting school. For them to learn and implement kindness, generosity and most importantly self-care is such an essential and integral part of their development. This is a great bedtime reading book. I need to calm down for a moment reading and even for teachers to have this book in their classrooms. Children should be given a physical copy of this book as it has such beautiful illustrations of many different types of children in so many scenarios as well as blank pages in the back of the book to write other great sayings and affirmations.

I read this book along with my three-year-old, and we both love it! This has become one of her go-to books that she will request at any time of day. I love the concept of affirmations using the alphabet, and the illustrations are vibrant and eye-catching. I will read each page, and she will echo each affirmation loud and proud! My favorite part of the book is the discussion each page can provoke. For example, if it says “I am helpful to others,” we can then talk about a time she was helpful to someone that day or things she could do TO be helpful. Just the other night, she got to pick what we had for dinner. I told her that was a wonderful idea (spaghetti!) and she replied, “I have UNIQUE ideas!” And my heart melted…So, it promotes vocabulary, too! I whole-heartedly recommend this book. It is delightful and a breath of fresh air for anyone of any age! Five stars!

As an educator, I love how diverse (both human and animals) and fun the illustrations are for each alphabet letter. I also enjoyed how the affirmations are bolded, making it easy to realize they are important, as well as listing multiple affirmations for each letter. The affirmations cover a range of positive themes, including self-love, confidence, gratitude, and resilience. By incorporating these affirmations into their daily lives, children are encouraged to develop a positive mindset and embrace their unique qualities and strengths. The affirmations within the book provide children with effective tools to overcome challenges, enhance their self-belief, and cultivate a sense of inner happiness.

Quick Affirmations for Children (Quick Affirmations Series) by Kim Ann & Yobe Qiu. This is such a awesome book for children aged 3-6. Life is so hard anymore especially for kids who have had to deal with this crazy world we live in. This is a book with affirmations starting with the ABC's. Its easy for kids to understand and it lifts them up. My 5 year old nephew lived thru COVID and started school shortly after so he has a lot of anxiety. This book has helped him immensely. The pictures are vibrant and so cool, he loves it so much. It also promotes other learning tools such as vocabulary. The discussions at the end of each day is amazing. I loved this book so much I bought the Affirmations for Women! Such a great book for your child's library and would make a great gift.

5 Stars Quick Affirmations for Children is a wonderfully written children’s book that children ages 3-6 will enjoy reading. This teaches children positivity, helps them to be brave, happy and confident. This is a fairly new children’s author to me and I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have. My five year old son loved this book so much we read it four times in row. The illustrations are colorful and tell their own story. We are learning to work through our emotions and this definitely helped. I highly recommend reading this book and we look forward to reading more from this Author.
Quick Affirmations for Children (Quick Affirmations Series) by Kim Ann & Yobe Qui
Quick Affirmations for Children is such a wonderful book by Kim Ann! Not only are the affirmations easy enough for small children to understand, the illustrations are vivid and appealing for children and adults alike. The contrast between the affirmations and the other words helps bring focus to the important words. As a mother and preschool teacher, I love how positive and upbeat this book is. Not only can this book help teach confidence and self-love but kindness and empathy. It is also helpful in teaching the alphabet! The target audience for Quick Affirmations for Children is 3-6 year olds, but I believe that children and adults of all ages can benefit from this book!

positive Affirmations help everyone young and old As an adult that has used positive affirmations for many years to help me get through the toughest days, I like that this book speaks to children and shows them how special they are. Kids have rough days too and this colorfully illustrated book can help them get through those moments. Imagine if we were introduced to positive affirmations as children our selves! This book is a true gift for our children! I’ll be gifting a copy to all the children in my life!

Sometimes we need to be reminded of positive things to say or think about ourselves or others. While this is a children's book, I thoroughly enjoyed it as an adult. This book would make a great teaching tool, not only to add more positivity into a child's life, but also to teach them the alphabet, colors, different ethnicities, etc. There were several golden nuggets in this short read. The illustrations are also extremely well done! The colors are vibrant, the pictures are relevant and engaging, as well as inclusive of different age groups and ethnicities.

This is a super cute book that I love for my kiddos. The illustrations are engaging and colorful, but not overwhelming and, as said in the title, the affirmations are quick. Short little mantras for little people to remind them they are special, important, kind... all of the wonderful things that young children are! I read this for myself to make sure it was something I wanted to invest in, and not only do I want a copy for my own kids, this is definitely something I'll be sending my nieces and nephews to keep at their bedsides to wake up and read a positive message each day!

This book is great for helping kids who are struggling with worry and other difficult feelings. I have shared this book with my children who all have struggles with school and stress. The art work is interesting and shows a wide range of ethnicities while being bright and good conversation starters. I would highly recommend this book for any young child who is struggling. This book is meant for younger children, around elementary age, and in my opinion would be helpful and useful within a classroom environment.

Quick Affirmations for Children (Quick Affirmations Series) by Kim Ann & Yobe Qiu was absolutely adorable. I read the book to my three year old a few times this week. She loved all the pictures and would repeat the affirmations back to me. I found she’d say some periodically but mix up the words, it was cute. I thought these were easy, cute and perfect for young kids but really for anyone. The illustrations were colorful and enticing for children and the affirmations were perfect to share with my child. Loved this book and think it would make a great gift for a young child!

I love everything about this book! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, and the affirmations are short for kids to be able to remember if they aren’t looking at it. My 8- and 11-year-old had a blast saying/singing these to each other and made it a fun game as well. Little ones already have so much going on with their emotions and finding themselves that affirmations can help build their self-esteem and mindfulness. I enjoyed these even as an adult! I highly recommend picking this up and sharing it with the younger (and not so young) people in your life.

I really loveeeee this! Omg I got the digital copy, but you better believe I will be buying a hard copy. Especially because at the end of the book there are multiple pages that the author was fantastic enough to put in so you could write your own affirmations. I have read this a couple time already with my little one and it still grabs the attention and enthusiasm just like the first time 🥰🤣 I make it fun so it will help my little one remember. I look forward to enjoying more of this Author's work.

Love a sweet and simple book full of positivity!! Children need to experience affirmations, this book is perfect for that! As a parent my go to and only affirmation was “good job” but now with this book, directed to be read to a child, I learned new ways to encourage and inspire my daughter. Sitting her on my lap, we digitally flipped through each page and enjoyed the colorful illustrations and affirmations. Each page had characters from her other children books too!

What a cool book! I wish they had books like this when I was littler or even when my kids where smaller. Just the bite size affirmations such as “I am focused on my day!” can make a difference to a child’s outlook. These affirmations are full of life, hope, and joy. It makes you smile reading them. The pages illustrations are bright and colorful. They jump out at you and just bring life and happiness. This will be a great gift for my grandchildren.

I enjoyed reading this positive children’s book. This is also a new children’s author for me which I look forward to seeing what next they will come up with. This is a book that provides positivity, messages and a fun way to learn the alphabet. The illustrations tell a story on their own and will keep your child engaged. There is so much that a child will find to enjoy in this book. I highly recommend this children’s book for all ages.

Not only does this beautiful book contain many inspiring affirmations for young children, it also links them to the alphabet which has multiple benefits! It helps children to learn the alphabet and alphabetical order but also helps children who already know the alphabet to better remember the affirmations as they can link them to the relevant letters. The affirmations are simple but beautiful and creative. Definitely a great book for the whole family!

In everybody's life, we experience negativity, but there is no reason why we can't all use some positivity and affirmations to create a good start to the day. This book makes it easy for children to do just that, it has an easy-to-read affirmation for each letter of the alphabet and fun illustrations to go with them. It is easy to understand and will build confidence both mentally and educationally with some great words in the phrases created that all ages could enjoy.

Quick Affirmations for Children is great for a quick boost to start the day or as needed. The affirmations are short and sweet and written so 3-6 years old's can understand what they mean. My children like the illustrations too as most helped show what the affirmation meant.
These A to Z affirmations would be perfect for little posters or trading cards too!

Such a cute and positive book for kids. We've read it multiple times already. My son already remembers what some of the lines will be and says them before I can. The illustrations are bright and colorful and it was fun for him to see characters from the authors' other books. It was great to read this to him and teach him more empowering and positive ways to think about himself.

This would be a beautiful tool for kids. As a teacher and a mother, there are great lessons and affirmations for useful conversations with kids. I find that kids need reminders of positivity since they are sponges of environmental factors. I think this would be something of importance in developing children with empathy and high self esteem.

There also are cute pictures with correlate with the affirmations. I can see kids of all ages enjoying reading this alone or having it read to them and discussed. Happy I stumbled across this one!
