Kerri Cronk Accident
On August 5, 2011, as Kerri was riding her bicycle, she was struck and seriously injured by a car that was pulling out of a parking lot in front of her. Minutes later, Kerri was found by a passer-by near Hogle Zoo and 2600 E. Wasatch Drive where the accident occurred. She was unconscious, badly injured, and over bleeding in the street.
The wreck fractured a vertebra in Kerri’s neck and her right clavicle gave her a concussion. Her right shoulder was separated and took her off the air for almost eight weeks. However, Kerri returned to the anchor chair full after spending two months recovering from the accident.
